We won this once and threw it away by installing a weak, corrupt govt. McChrystal requested 40,000 fighting men. What he got was 18,000 fighting men and 15,000 support personnel. If Hannity is correct by saying 30,000, then 3,000 were cut from the original deployment plans. My numbers are rough estimates based on the normal size of brigades and regiments, as presented in the original published plans.
