I am a single mother due to divorce and Ann's comments in no way take away my hope. It only re-enforces what I already knew; because my children are not growing up in the ideal situation, I must do everything to raise them to adulthood in way that they have the most chance to be productive members of society.This should be a wake-up call to single mothers; not perceived as taking away their HOPE.

The argument that single mothers are selfless, heroic, victims is a bunch of hogwash. Pregnancy is said to have occurred only once as a divine impregnation. Pregnancies from Rape are not the consensual act that produces most single woman families. The question of "where are the deadbeat fathers" is the in the same vane as "she is a single Mom". To blaspheme one and accept the other is a travesty.

It's not the child's fault that it is being brought up in a non-traditional family. There are only two to blame and they both share the blame equally. That a woman decides to raise her illegitimate child may or may not be an attribute. Glorification of out-of-wedlock pregnancies does nothing but create an atmosphere that accepts more out-of-wedlock pregnancies.

Anne Coulter stands on my side of the argument that unwed women should abstain. There is no excuse for either a man or woman to put themselves in a position of creating a human life that will be brought up in a less than good environment lacking the love of both a mother and father. The "idiotic assault on society" described by bopples is, in most cases, the complacency of society and it's acceptance of out-of-wedlock pregnancies, not the condemnation by Ann Coulter or those of us who agree with her.

What are the effects on little girls, for women that have breast implants. So they can look like barbie dolls? And throwing up to be thin?

The resource the children do not get, Bill is the FATHER. Not $$. It's dad. As far as the LIb's, they do not try to argue facts with Ann on the because they don't live in facts, they live is an altered state. That defines the post- modernist liberal. Remember the quote, The most dangerous place for a black-baby is in the womb. And the face of that holocaust- BHO.

when somebody will actually talk about the issues with Coulter, it becomes incredibly clear what she is writing about. When it's all a discussion about 'you're so mean!!!' then the issues just get swept aside. Of course, it would require interviewers to actually READ the book and not just the cherrypicked quotes that produces hand them to feign outrage at.
