In Santa Monica, CA - they tried to pass a Prop that would limit the square footage of businesses on 3rd Street so that 'big businesses' wouldn't want to open stores on the Promenade.

It is economic discrimination. It is wrong. Historically, injustices have been allowed to occur as long as it was SOMEONE ELSE being discriminated against. I don't own a big business so it's ok? I'm not rich so it's ok to discriminate against them? I'm not black so it's ok to discriminate against them? No. Right is right and wrong is wrong.

Description

Mr. Tweek can\'t compete with the new Harbucks because his coffee isnt nearly as good. So he gets a Prop put on the ballot to 'protect small business.' Because small businesses are good and big businesses are bad. Or so we are led to believe.

Ironically, it is the same Protectionist Capitalism that the Left rails against. It is another example of the difference between EQUALITY and EQUALIZATION.

And the difference between Free Market and Protectionist Capitalism.
